Syncfusion Releases Essential Studio® 2012 Volume 3 with Cloud-Ready Report Designer and Viewer

Research Triangle Park, N.C.—August 21, 2012Syncfusion, Inc., a leading provider of components for Windows development, today announced the release of Essential Studio® 2012 Volume 3, which contains a cloud-ready report designer and viewer that can work with Windows Azure as well as any cloud that supports a Windows-based deployment environment. In addition, it is 100 percent Report Definition Language (RDL) compliant.

Other new Essential Studio® 2012 Volume 3 features include:

  • Pixel-perfect iOS and Android mobile web application themes.
  • OLAP grid framework that enables developers to deploy business intelligence solutions using the ASP.NET MVC framework.
  • Enhanced PDF viewer with bar code display.
  • PDF display framework with no external dependencies or software development kits (SDKs) needed.

Syncfusion, a member of the Visual Studio Industry Partner program, will simultaneously ship Essential Studio® 2012 Volume 3 with Microsoft's release of Visual Studio 2012.

In further support of Visual Studio 2012, Syncfusion has released a free e-book titled LightSwitch Succinctly. It is written by Jan Van der Haegen and provides a quick tour of the different parts of the LightSwitch development environment.
